She has a diploma in Tai Chi Chuan and has attended numerous workshops and training courses in the UK and Italy for the Tai Chi for Health Institute under the leadership of Dr Paul Lam. She studies the Chen, Yang, and Sun styles. Her classes are calm and friendly, and she gives each student time and attention.
Our approach # We teach slowly and carefully. Each class starts with gentle “warm-up” exercises to loosen the joints. Then we practise the forms, step by step. We finish with “cool-down” practices for meditation and quiet breathing.
You do not need to be fit or flexible to start. You need only comfortable clothes, flat shoes, and a wish to learn.
Where we teach # We are based in Wiltshire in the UK and teach in community halls and, in the summer, outdoors in local parks.
